The message has been consistent for years: There’s a nationwide nursing shortage. In times like these, is it possible that the need for compassionate caregivers could be as high as ever? Undoubtedly. But the students of Indiana Wesleyan University’s School of Nursing aren’t just looking for a job. They want to be motivated by mentors willing to share their knowledge gained by years of practice. They expect a nursing school that offers an integrated educational experience, combining hard facts with hands-on learning. Our nursing school is led by its own dean and consists of three divisions: the Division of Pre-licensure Nursing, the Division of Post-licensure Nursing, and the Division of Graduate Studies in Nursing. Over 200 full-time, affiliate, and adjunct faculty members assist with coursework for over 2,000 full-time students—on the Marion, Indiana, campus, at various sites in Indiana, Kentucky, and Ohio, and online for students around the world.
