Indiana Wesleyan University offers dynamic, hybrid academic programs that support international students (F1) that desire to come to or remain in the U.S. to study in the States. IWU's Hybrid International Student Programs support students that are looking for CPT or post-completion OPT for eligible students.
The hybrid international student programs offered by the Devoe School of Business and the Office of International Student Programs offer students that are currently in the U.S. the ability to continue their studies and maintain their F1 status . These programs also support students seeking to come to the U.S. to study in the States .
Our programs not only prepare you academically, but we also support the integration of practical training into eligible programs. No matter your unique circumstance, our staff is positioned to support you through the steps to initiate, transfer, and/or maintain your F1 status.
The Office of International Student Programs will support you from application to graduation as your Enrollment Counselor (EC), Designated School Official (DSO), and Academic Advisor. We look forward to working with you on your academic journey!

Email enrollment.F1@indwes.edu and request to update your start date. Once the update is complete, your admit letter in the application portal will automatically update.

All students will receive a physical student ID card at their initial residency.

Each semester, we automatically register you for classes in a prescribed order. Please do not request to take classes out of order or attempt to self-register.
Student Account Services FAQs
There are 4 steps to complete to be financially cleared to register. You must complete this process promptly to receive your updated I-20.
Directions to complete each of the required steps are included within the application portal once you are admitted.
No. Late fees are non-refundable.
Our credit card processor charges a 2.45% service fee, which is added to any debit or credit card payment. Payments by echeck do not incur a fee.
When the payment processor processes your payment for your payment plan, they will send you an automated confirmation of the payment. Once that payment has been posted to your student account, you can get a receipt from Student Finance in Self-Service.
DSO - F1 Visa FAQs
Your former institution will confirm that your record has been transferred. Hold onto your existing I-20 until Indiana Wesleyan issues the updated document.

Students must have applied for graduation and be within six months of completing a degree before submitting this request.
Indiana Wesleyan does not offer health insurance. You can find many competitive options from the vendors listed below. The coverage should include Medical Evacuation and Repatriation. Indiana Wesleyan does not endorse any specific plan.
To have an F-2 dependent added to your record, you must provide the following documentation:
