Indiana Wesleyan University's Fine Art major allows students' passions and creative/artistic interests to direct their studies within a variety of media and techniques. If you enjoy a broad range of artistic investigation, are explorative by nature, and seek a multimedia or interdisciplinary approach to art making, then you will likely find this program to be a good fit.
Our professors provide instruction in using the camera, computers, and your own hands directly to create both two-dimensional and three-dimensional works of art. Core classes help to hone basic skills while fulfilling prerequisites for higher-level art studies, and students are free to tailor electives to their specific interests. Guided by skilled and caring faculty members, our graduates conceptualize, form, and display a body of artwork unique to their own interests.
Students may also choose to minor in Fine Art or Art History as a supplement to another IWU major.
