Tuition and Costs FAQs
The Cost of Attendance (COA) is an estimate of a student's educational expenses for a period of enrollment. The typical period of enrollment is the academic year but could be based on single academic terms. The COA will include institutional costs paid directly to the university and non-institutional costs that the student could expect to incur during their enrollment period. Not all non-institutional costs are paid directly to the university.
COA elements such as dependent care, study abroad expenses, and disability-related expenses may be added on a case-by-case basis for students with associated fees. Professional licensure, certification or first professional credential fees will be added to a student's COA during the period of enrollment in which the cost is incurred. Please contact the Financial Aid Office for more information on these additional COA elements.
