Apr. 11, 2022
Regardless of where you work or who you work for, one thing is certain: you’ll need to communicate clearly and effectively. With a degree from IWU’s Division of Communication and Theatre, you’ll gain professional experience and be prepared to work in any industry.
As our student, you’ll become an effective communicator across a variety of platforms and environments. No matter your goal, our programs are designed to help you jumpstart your career in a professional setting or prepare you for graduate studies.
Our professors are experts in their field and are committed to advancing their knowledge base within the communication and theatre discipline. Our small class sizes provide you with the opportunity to build a relationship with your professors. They want to get to know you both academically and individually.
Our division’s motto is Voice for the Voiceless. As a student, you’ll learn how to give voice to the stories around you—stories that are told with professionalism, integrity and human connection. Within each major, you’ll learn how to give voice whether that is on stage, on-air or in print.
Explore our academic programs, visit our facilities, check out our IWU Theatre Guild, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages, and reach out to our professors. We are here to help you every step of the way.
