Who We Are
Impact is a collaboration program between the Grant County Co-op and Indiana Wesleyan University that provides inclusive post-secondary options for students with intellectual disabilities. Our program highlights academic, social, and life skills through mentorships with traditional students, volunteer jobs on campus, auditing courses of interest, and continuing IEP goals. We have served over 50 students in the last 10 years as they go on to find employment and offer further contributions to Grant County and beyond.
How to Support
We are always looking for people to champion the heart of our program through advocacy, integration, and mentorships! If you are a faculty member with volunteer job opportunities or a student interested in becoming a mentor (eligible for volunteer hours), please email jamie_westgate@olemiss.k12.in.us.
