IWU's Bachelor of Arts with a major in Business Administration program provides a broad-based education in the theories, principles, and practices of modern business Coursework includes management, decision-making, business communications, managerial accounting and finance, economics, and marketing, with an emphasis on ethics and the technical and leadership skills needed for successful entry-level work in the professional world. Students may also choose to earn an Associate of Science in Business Administration degree for quick entry into the workforce and a foundation for further education, or to minor in Business Administration as a supplement to another IWU major.
Many students choose to combine this major with a second major within the DeVoe Division of Business or in another field such as Fine Art, Communication Studies, Computer Information Systems, Criminal Justice, Economics, English, History, Mathematics, Applied Music, Political Science, Psychology, Social Work, or Sports Management.
