Hello! My name is Jenna Riggs, and I have the privilege of serving students in Ohio and southeast Indiana. I graduated from IWU in 2019 with a degree in management and psychology. My years in undergrad were filled with amazing opportunities and people who spoke truth and encouragement into my life, and I wanted to be a part of IWU's mission to continue offering the same experience to students. I love serving students as an Admissions Counselor because I find such joy in celebrating alongside others as they find where the Lord is calling them for the next chapter in their life! The college search process is exciting, but can also feel overwhelming at times. Please reach out and let me know how I can support you through this process!
My very favorite thing about IWU is easily the people you meet there. They are all excellent as individuals and as teammates. I'm so grateful to be a part of this community as they encourage me to learn, grow and become a better version of myself and more like Jesus each day.
Grab a cup of coffee at McConn Coffee Co. (obviously), and attend a fitness class like Turbo Kick or Zumba!
I love being able to celebrate with others as they find where God is calling them to! It's an exciting time of life to explore and learn, and I love being a small part of that for students.
The programs and opportunities available to students so clearly reflect the heartbeat behind IWU's mission. We believe that every single person is uniquely created and gifted by God for work set aside specially for them, and I believe opportunities such as our pre-declared program and life coaching services reflect that. What we say with our words we also carry out in practice and that's really something special!
I find it inspiring to watch people who aren't afraid to get their hands dirty as they love and serve those around them like Jesus. I respect a good and faithful hustle.
I love to read books that inspire me, go for runs on the Cardinal Greenway, and sit with good friends over a cup of delicious coffee.
Remember that this is a time of celebration too! As you complete your college search, take time to celebrate this season of possibility and the work you've put in to get here. It's a blessing and an amazing opportunity to continue your education, but it's sometimes easy to hurry through this process.
