Want a unique theatre experience at Indiana Wesleyan University this summer?

For those in high school eager to experience theatre with the Guild, this week-long camp will include workshops in stagecraft and acting; recreation and games; rehearsals; and a final Friday-night performance of one-act plays. As a resident camper, students will eat meals in Baldwin, stay in residential halls on campus, and participate in activities throughout campus. The camp will include master classes with IWU Theatre faculty and undergraduates that will hone performance and technical skills.

Outside of theatre, campers will also have opportunities to experience fine arts learning in music and art. Fees will include a camp T-shirt, all meals, lodging, major activities, and theatre classes and workshops. See you in June!

WHO

  • High school students (anyone entering 9th, 10th, 11th, or 12th grade as well as those graduating 12th grade).

WHEN

  • Sunday, June 23rd through Friday, June 28th. 
  • Check-in is on Sunday 2:00-4:00 p.m.
  • Friday at 1:00 p.m., families are invited back to a “Week in Review” dessert reception. Each camp will showcase their accomplishments. Campers will be dismissed following their program.

Base Cost - $375
Registration Fee (non-refundable) - $50

    • Cost includes resident hall lodging, three meals a day, snacks, and all major aspects of the camp. Our dining hall has many options for those with food allergies. However, we encourage you to bring appropriate snacks since not all snack options will meet all dietary needs.
    • Note: The $50 non-refundable registration fee is due at the time of registration. No student will be considered registered until they have submitted this fee. Balance of tuition and fees are due by May 31, 2019. Any registrations after June 1, 2019 will incur an additional $50 late registration fee.

*Campers will have access to athletic/gym equipment (including a rock-climbing wall). If you would like to use this equipment, please bring the proper attire.

The following will be provided in the dorm rooms:

  • blanket
  • pillow and pillow case
  • two flat sheets
  • two bath towels
  • a hand towel
  • a washcloth
  • small bar of soap

Please do NOT bring the following:

Laptops, iPads and other electronic devices*. Weapons of any kind: e.g. firearms, knives or pocket knives.

*Cell phones are welcome, but please note they should be silent and out of sight when campers are in rehearsals, class, lessons, etc.
