IWU Welcomes Walmart and Sam's Club Associates
Indiana Wesleyan University (IWU) provides Walmart and Sam's Club Associates with a variety of adult degree programs in a flexible format. Walmart and Sam's Club Associates will also benefit from a full complement of student services specifically designed for busy professionals who desire to earn their next degree totally online. Walmart and Sam's Club Associates will find Indiana Wesleyan University's CAPS programs to be engaging, relevant, and challenging.
Accelerated Program Format
IWU's online courses are organized so that Walmart and Sam's Club Associates complete their program in an accelerated yet flexible manner. Students stay together as a small class (we call this group a cohort) throughout the entire program, taking all courses together and completing the program together. We have found that this format makes the most of a student's study time, provides a student with the greatest support from classmates, and moves a student through his or her program to graduation in the most time-efficient manner.
Degree Programs
Indiana Wesleyan University offers a variety of Online degree and certificate programs to accelerate your personal growth and equip you to change the world in which you live.
Why Choose Indiana Wesleyan University?
We realize that each student wants something different from a university. Their priorities, wants, and needs are as unique as the individual. When IWU's leadership decided in the early '80s to begin offering degree programs to working adults, they understood these facts and created a new college with curriculum, instructional methods, student services, admissions requirements, coursework, course schedules, financial aid services, library services, technical support services, and admissions services designed to provide an outstanding, world-class academic experience. This has become the hallmark of our CAPS degree programs.
As a result, more businesses are sending their employees to IWU each year to earn their next degree. IWU is now the largest private university in the state of Indiana, with over 15,000 students enrolled.
IWU's reputation is spreading! We welcome Walmart employees nationwide to become an IWU student and experience what a university program specifically designed for working adults can be like.
Student Services
Some of CAPS' strengths are the services we provide at no cost to our students. For example, our Off-Campus Library Services does more than give students access to our vast selection of databases. Our dedicated library staff will assist students in their search for appropriate sources for their research. They are known for responding to students' requests in hours, not days.
Another student service that CAPS provides at no additional cost is our Technical Support Help Desk. A staff member is accessible via email or telephone seven days a week to help students with any technology problems they may encounter with their personal computers.
System Requirements
Walmart and Sam's Club Associates will find that the systems they already have on their home computers will most likely be sufficient to handle the systems requirements for an online course.
Program Start Dates
Since the courses each cohort (the name we use for each group of students) completes as they move through their program are taken one after another, all CAPS students graduate as quickly as possible. This allows us to start new cohorts each month. Walmart and Sam's Club Associates can see what the next start date is for their program of interest by going to that degree's home page and selecting "Program Start Dates."
