Academics

Colleges and Schools

The academic organization of the University is structured to provide a diverse set of programs for every type of post-secondary student. Included in this structure are five primary academic units. Three of these units, two colleges and a graduate school, are comprised of smaller schools, divisions, and/or departments, while the two other units, the School of Nursing and the Wesley Seminary, are oriented to their academic disciplines.

The primary academic units include:

  • The College of Arts and Sciences is our traditional residential campus located in Marion, Indiana, home to just over 3,000 students and to the Graduate Counseling program.
  • The College of Adult and Professional Studies includes academic programs designed for working adults and offered in multiple locations across three states as well as fully online.
  • The School of Nursing is home to our highly acclaimed nursing programs that include a BSN, an RNBSN, an MSN, a Parish Nursing Certificate, and a Transition to Nursing program.
  • The Graduate School functions to provide policies, standards, and strategic guidance for graduate education, graduate faculty, and scholarly research.
  • Wesley Seminary features an innovative approach to seminary education, offering graduate work built around local church ministry in action.
