Indiana Wesleyan University President, Dr. Jon Kulaga, and Campus Pastor and Dean of Spiritual Formation, Dr. Andrea Summers, have written an Advent devotional entitled That Extraordinary Moment: Reflections on the Advent Season which includes prayers from Dr. Jim Lo, Campus Intercessor and Professor of Intercultural Studies-Religion. The trio compiled the book of devotions to steward a focus during the Advent season toward the moment of Jesus’ birth. The time surrounding traditional Christmas celebrations offers a unique opportunity to reflect and admire the historic impact of Jesus’ birth. Jo Anne Lyon, the General Superintendent Emerita of The Wesleyan Church shares, “I look forward to using ‘Extraordinary Moments’ as my Advent devotional this year. The project, completed this fall, was released on November 10, 2023, with Wesleyan Publishing House.
