The MS in Information Technology Project Management is designed to equip students to apply project management principles and practices for IT initiatives across organizations. Students will learn to balance both traditional (sequential) and agile (iterative) management techniques, the two leading methodologies for leading IT projects. Students will also master establishing communication and leadership strategies, organizing teams for IT projects, and other essential decision-making skills. What will I Learn in this MS in IT Project Management Program?
Students will learn industry standard practices to manage, execute, monitor, measure and control IT projects. Additionally, the program guides students in project communication, stakeholder engagement, and team leadership. A biblical framework is integrated throughout the program to guide ethical decision-making in IT project management. The curriculum includes all the content and study hours necessary to meet the educational requirement to sit for the industry Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) and Project Management Professional (PMP) exams from the Project Management Institute. Students will also be able to enjoy focusing on one course at a time and benefiting from a flexible online structure.
