Pre-Clinical Specialization

Complete general education courses, core courses, and virtual labs - all through IWU!

Lay the groundwork for a successful career in healthcare and prepare for advanced fields of study such as healthcare administration, occupational therapy, physical therapy, and physician assistant. Approximate time to completion: 4 years

Post-Clinical Specialization

Turn your licensure/certification into college credit!

Tuition and fees for prerequisites and required elective courses are in addition to the charges shown on the program cost sheet. Your tuition rate will remain the same as long as you remain continuously enrolled in the same program. REQUIREMENTS

  • Proof of high school or GED certification
  • Original transcripts from all previous college or university study at a college or university that is accredited by an accrediting agency recognized by both the U.S. Department of Education (ED) and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA)
  • Associate degree in related healthcare field or Professional Healthcare License/Certification (Paramedic, Respiratory Therapy, Radiologic Technologist, Surgical Technologist, Dental Hygienist, Occupational Therapy Assistant, Physical Therapy Assistant).

  • Completion of 120 credit hours
  • Cumulative GPA of 2.5
  • Completion of the required major, specialization, and foundational courses with a minimum grade of “C” and a GPA of 2.7 or higher
  • Completion of 30 hours of general education requirements as specified (General Education Requirements – School of Integrated Health).
  • Payment of all tuition and fees is required to receive a diploma
