INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Oct. 16, 2025) — Indiana Wesleyan University (IWU) will host the 2025 Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Conference on Thursday, Oct. 23, at the FORUM Events Center in Fishers, Indiana, part of the Indianapolis metropolitan area. Designed by CFOs for CFOs, the one-day, in-person event will bring together finance and business leaders for a peer-driven exchange of insight and innovation.
Themed “Inspire. Lead. Transform.,” the conference will feature thought leaders addressing key issues shaping today’s financial landscape, including leadership, markets, tax strategy, healthcare, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence. The day will begin with opening remarks from Jon Kulaga, president of IWU, followed by Andy Hughes, dean of IWU’s DeVoe School of Business, Technology, and Leadership, who will present on organizational leadership principles.
Featured presenters include Jon Cargill and Brandon Sutherland, CFOs of Hobby Lobby and Samaritan’s Purse, respectively; Ron Blue, founder of Ronald Blue Trust and Entrepreneur Financial Services World; Paul Tashima, managing director and portfolio manager at UBS; Gabriel Sotelo, senior software engineer at Microsoft; Ben Conner, chief executive officer of Conner Insurance; Bryan Clevenger and Stephanie Carper of FORVIS; Irfan Ahmad, managing director and head of U.S. payments at Bank of America; and David Anderson, principal and cybersecurity consultant at CLA.
Conference sessions will explore topics such as cash and short-term credit markets, healthcare insights, executive-level financial planning, treasury trends, and the real-time impact of emerging technologies.

The event is approved by the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) and offers seven continuing professional education (CPE) credits. It is open to corporate, nonprofit, and public-sector CFOs, finance executives, consultants, CPA firm leaders, and banking professionals. Doors open at 7:30 a.m., and sessions run from 8:15 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET. Attendance is in person only, and parking is free.
