Dr. John Ozmun is a Professor in the Health & Human Performance Division at Indiana Wesleyan University. He earned his doctorate in Motor Development and Adapted Physical Education from Indiana University. Prior to his appointment at IWU he was a faculty member and administrator at Indiana State University. As a college professor he has taught undergraduate and graduate courses and conducted research in early childhood physical activity, K-12 physical education, adapted physical activity, and motor development. He is the co-author of the textbook Understanding Motor Development: Infants, Children, Adolescents, Adults (Kendall Hunt) and is the creator of the website www.preschoolathlete.com.
