 Curriculum Vitae

Dr. Linville brings over 30 years of leadership experience as a practioner to the Graduate Studies in Leadership Faculty Team, split evenly between multinational corporations and international nonprofits. Four of those years included living in Ukraine, where he taught and served as the rector of one of the early post-Soviet Bible colleges while leading a multicultural staff team comprised of Russians, Ukrainians, Canadians and Americans. He also founded a nonprofit ministry devoted to training, leadership development and humanitarian aid in Russian-speaking countries. Dr. Linville is active in the International Leadership Association (ILA) and the Society for Intercultural Education, Training and Research (SIETAR).

Dr. Linville's research efforts reflect his international experience and are focused upon the distal and proximal complexities of global leadership, especially with regards to how personality influences the cross-cultural adaptability of expatriate leaders. He also has examined and presented on the cross-cultural transferability of Western leadership theory and praxis. Having coached corporate and nonprofit clients using MBTI Personality Typology and Emotional Intelligence assessments, Dr. Linville has co-authored an advanced emotional intelligence training program called "Leadership Connections that Followers Demand."
