Biography

Mrs. Brady graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University with a bachelor of science in nursing (BSN) degree focusing on nursing in 2000.  In 2003, she returned to Indiana Wesleyan University to complete a master of science in nursing (MSN) degree focusing on primary care of the family.   She became a nurse practitioner in 2005 and was certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) in 2007.  Heather completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree in 2014.  Heather has 11 years of experience working in the intensive care unit as a staff nurse and ten years of experience as a nurse practitioner in the urgent care setting.  In 2006, she began teaching for the MSN program at Indiana Wesleyan University and in 2011 she transitioned to a full-time assistant professor for the Indiana Wesleyan University, School of Nursing, Pre-Licensure program.
