Brian Roland

Biography
Dr. Roland has more than 16 years of clinical experience helping populations that struggle with mental illness, addictions, and other issues. In 2014, Dr. Roland earned his License Master of Social Work (LMSW) in New York. Dr. Roland has more than 17 years of research experience that includes multiple publications in the areas of addiction and substance use. Dr. Roland is involved with two committees that include the Social Work Coordinating Council (SWCC) and the Academic Affairs Council, and he will soon be involved with the DSW-PhD Planning Committee.
Teaching Interests
Dr. Roland is currently an Assistant Professor at Indiana Wesleyan University in the School of Service and Leadership where he teaches online master-level social work courses, develops master’s level online courses, and helps the developing program with CSWE accreditation.
