Biography
Alisha joined IWU in 2020. She has been a Family Nurse Practitioner since 2009. During her time as a nurse practitioner, she has worked in a few settings, including an FQHC and homeless shelter. She developed a strong passion for lifestyle medicine and currently works as a medical director for a lifestyle medicine clinic. She feels strongly that her work as a nurse practitioner and professor are both a calling and a ministry.
Alisha and her wonderful husband Ken have four children. Outside of work she enjoys traveling with her family, reading, being out in nature, and cheering for her children from the sidelines.
