Whether you’re applying to graduate school, starting a new job, or simply need a record of your academic work, your transcripts are easy to access.
Official Transcripts
Official transcripts are the certified records most often required for graduate school applications, licensure, or employment verification, and they are submitted securely through the Registrar’s Office.
Unofficial Transcripts
Unofficial transcripts are useful for personal records, planning your next steps, or reviewing your academic history and are available in the myIWU Self-Service portal under Academics.
Step 1 - Confirm your Conferral Date
You can confirm your Conferral Date by checking your unofficial transcript in the myIWU Self-Service portal.
Step 2 - Check your accounts
Student Accounts – Will let you know if you have any outstanding balances that would prevent you from receiving your diploma.
Financial Aid – Learn about when your loans will come due so you can be prepared to repay them.
Step 3 – On your Conferral Date
CELEBRATE! 🎉 Today’s the day it’s official!
Step 4 – 72 hours after your Conferral Date
Check your unofficial transcript to ensure your degree has been conferred.
Note: If you need official transcripts for your career or to continue your education, you can order those now.
Step 5 – After your conferral date, look for your digital diploma
You should receive a text and an email within 10 days of your Conferral Date containing your digital diploma. The digital diploma is a preview of what your physical diploma will contain.
When you receive the digital diploma, be sure to check your address and name for any final revisions or updates.
