In a time of cultural change and ministry complexity, the call to shepherd well remains the same—yet requires renewed wisdom, courage, and care.
Join us for a meaningful day designed to equip and encourage pastors and church leaders as you navigate the shifts facing today’s Church.
Across communities and congregations, leaders are carrying the weight of rapid change, spiritual hunger, generational transition, and increasing demands on both ministry and family life. Shepherding in the Shift is an opportunity to pause, be refreshed, and gain practical insight for leading faithfully in a changing world while remaining anchored in the unchanging truth of Christ.
Through powerful main sessions, honest conversations, and practical breakout discussions, this day is designed to strengthen your heart, sharpen your leadership, and remind you that you are not shepherding alone. Whether you are leading a church, serving on a ministry team, or investing in the next generation, you will leave encouraged, connected, and better equipped for the season ahead.

A major shift has occurred in trauma counseling as Modern Trauma Theory (MTT) moves practitioners from asking "What is wrong with you?" to "What happened to you?" While this feels like a contemporary breakthrough, the concept is deeply rooted in the Gospel of John. Throughout his ministry, Jesus consistently addressed people's experiences rather than labeling their pathologies. This is most evident in John 20, where the risen Christ appears to a community huddled in fear. Rather than rebuking their distress, Jesus displays his own wounds, validating the reality of the crucifixion and offering a model of restorative presence. This breakout session explores how integrating MTT into the sermon empowers preachers to transform the pulpit into a sacred space for biological, relational, and spiritual reclamation.
