About the Program

Indiana Wesleyan University’s Bachelor of Science with a major in Management degree program is designed for working professionals who are employed in businesses or public organizations. The curriculum stresses skill development in the areas of management, decision-making, organizational behavior, financial planning and control systems, negotiation, and conflict resolution, with a focus on sharpening the skills necessary to be successful in a professional environment.

Students pursuing this program also have the option of adding a Human Resources Management (HR) specialization to their degree. Those who complete this option will be equipped to fill the role of educated and credentialed HR professionals, demonstrate an alignment of knowledge and skills with Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) standards for Human Resources professionals, and be prepared to take the SHRM certification exam (with actual certification subject to additional SHRM requirements such as work experience).

The program may be completed online, or onsite at various locations in Indiana, Kentucky, and Ohio. The HR specialization is available to online students and also to onsite students in Indiana. A minor in Management is also available to Indiana, Ohio, and online students who are pursuing a non-Management bachelor's degree through IWU.
