A rigorous program for future CPA's
An Accounting degree can turn a passion-for solving problems and turning complex information into critical and understandable knowledge for decision makers-into a profession. As an Accounting student, you'll learn how to manage and report financial information. In addition to understanding financial processes, you'll have the opportunity to polish your communication skills so you can effectively serve your clients.
IWU's Bachelor of Arts with a major in Accounting program will put you on a career path to work for local, national, or international accounting firms and consulting firms. Opportunities are also available in higher education, government agencies, and not-for-profit organizations. Students may also choose to earn an Associate of Science degree for quick entry into the workforce and a foundation for further education, or to minor in Accounting as a supplement to another IWU major.
Through our Accounting program you will learn key ethical guidelines for your profession and also acquire a solid frame of reference that will reflect a Christ-like approach for all business efforts and decisions. There is a great need for ethical, biblically-guided professionals in the accounting world. The Accounting major at Indiana Wesleyan University is designed to train and send exactly that kind of individual into the profession.
If you enjoy working with other business professionals and have desire to bring a Christian worldview and context to your future career, you should consider majoring in Accounting at Indiana Wesleyan University.
