Join us for an inspiring and immersive musical experience at the IWU Summer Piano Intensive for all piano lovers!
Designed for passionate pianists aged 11 and older, our camp offers a unique opportunity to develop your artistry and grow as a musician in a supportive and dynamic environment. Adult learners are welcome. Daily passes are available for teacher-observers as well as participants receiving private lessons.
Throughout the program, participants will engage in:
Piano camp students (under age 18) who choose the residential option will stay in Indiana Wesleyan University campus housing during the camp week. They will be housed together under the supervision of a resident assistant at a ratio of no more than 7 students to one resident assistant. RA staff members are front-line personnel who serve as resource persons, facilitators, and advisors for activities within the community. They are in charge of maintaining community standards and safety, performing administrative tasks, and developing a sense of community.
IWU student housing offers furnished suites that include bedrooms, bathrooms, living and kitchen facilities. Linens, pillows, and towels are provided. Residential campers will be sharing a townhome suite.
All piano camp students will have meals and snacks included in their fee.

Professor of Piano at Indiana Wesleyan University, Phoenix has given recitals throughout the United States, Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Italy, Switzerland, Argentina, Spain and Russia including performances in various music festivals such as the Aspen Summer Music Festival, Piano Texas, and the Summer Music School in Siena.
She has won top prizes at national and international competitions including first place at the Miami Concerto Competition, Jefferson City Concerto Competition, Kansas City Philharmonic Concerto Competition, and was a finalist at the Liszt-Garrison International Piano Competition. She appeared as a soloist with the Korean Philharmonic Orchestra, Kansas City Philharmonia, UMKC, Fishers Chamber, and Marion Philharmonic Orchestras among others.
Irina studied at the Music College in Kyiv and Kharkiv Conservatory (Kharkiv National University of Arts named after I. P. Kotlyarevsky), the leading music institution of higher education in Ukraine. She holds Master’s Degrees in Piano Performance, Piano Pedagogy, Chamber Ensemble, and Accompaniment.
She regularly conducts workshops, lectures, presentation and masterclasses and serves as an adjudicator at national and international piano competitions in many states of America, Canada, Puerto Rico, Costa Rica, Colombia, Italy, UK, Germany, Spain, Portugal, China, Hong Kong, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore and Australia.
Andrew is a concert pianist and pedagogue with a career spanning performance, teaching, and academic leadership.
He has performed internationally as both a soloist and chamber musician and is recognized for his expressive artistry. He has held teaching positions at the Eastman School of Music and Indiana University. Andrew currently teaches for Indiana University’s pre-college Young Pianists Program, and he is frequently invited to adjudicate festivals and competitions and to present at professional events.
In addition to his work as a performer and teacher, Andrew serves as Academic Advisor in the Undergraduate Office at Indiana University’s Jacobs School of Music, supporting the academic success of undergraduate music students.
He earned a Bachelor’s degree from the University of South Carolina, a Master’s degree from the Eastman School of Music, and a Doctor of Music degree from Indiana University.
Dr. Sylvia Eunhee Seok is a pianist and collaborative artist whose work is widely praised for her sensitive, nuanced pianism in collaboration with singers, instrumentalists, and ensembles, finding in collaborative music a space for shared expression, deep listening, and authentic musical dialogue.
Before relocating to Indiana, she was deeply involved in the musical communities of Boston and New York, performing extensively as both a soloist and collaborative pianist. Her collaboration includes choirs, chamber music, and opera, with performances for major organizations such as the Metropolitan Opera, Indianapolis Opera, NATSSA, NATS, and NOA National Conferences.
In addition, Dr. Seok has received multiple concerto and solo competition awards and has participated in numerous festivals and master classes in the United States, Korea, and Spain. She holds a Doctor of Musical Arts from Boston University, a Master of Music from the New England Conservatory, and a Graduate Professional Diploma from the University of Hartford, all earned with performance scholarships.
Dr. Seok maintains a thriving studio and is widely sought after for her teaching, with students earning recognition in regional and international competitions. She currently serves as a collaborative pianist at Indiana Wesleyan University.
