Called to Flourish: Lives Marked by Hope, Integrity, and Service is a one-day virtual conference exploring the concept of flourishing in leadership, organizations, and communities. Flourishing is understood as the holistic development of individuals and institutions where purpose, well-being, ethical leadership, and resilience intersect.

Through scholarship, dialogue, and shared insights, the conference will examine how leaders can cultivate environments where people and organizations thrive. Rooted in a Christian tradition yet open and inclusive of diverse perspectives, the event welcomes participants from all backgrounds.

Conference FAQs

Registration is $35 per participant.
The event will take place virtually. Registered participants will receive access information prior to the conference.
The conference is open to faculty, students, alumni, business partners, and anyone interested in leadership, scholarship, and organizational flourishing.
Below is a tentative schedule for the one-day, virtual conference:
  • 9:00 a.m. – Welcome and Opening Session
    • Introduction to the flourishing theme and conference objectives
  • Morning Sessions
    • Faculty presentations and scholarly discussions related to flourishing in leadership and organizations
  • Midday Break
  • Afternoon Sessions
    • Additional presentations and collaborative dialogue on leadership, ethics, and resilience
  • 4:00 p.m. – Closing Remarks
Presentations will feature faculty and scholars from the DeVoe School of Business, Technology and Leadership, sharing research and perspectives on leadership, organizational well-being, and the concept of flourishing.
