Registration Open for Wildcat Summer Academy 2026

Week-long residential program invites high school students to explore academics, faith and college life on IWU's Marion campus

MARION, Ind. (March 19, 2026) — Indiana Wesleyan University (IWU) has opened registration for the annual Wildcat Summer Academy (WSA), scheduled for June 21-26 on IWU's Marion campus.

Open to high school students entering ninth grade through graduating seniors, WSA offers participants a college-like experience that combines dynamic learning with enriching social interactions in a supportive environment. Campers develop new skills, engage with IWU faculty, and explore their academic interests alongside like-minded peers from across the country, all within a community grounded in Christian faith.

Camp offerings span a wide range of disciplines, including art and design, nursing, engineering, forensics, e-sports, and business. The DeVoe School of Business Camp, for example, challenges students with real-time, team-based business problem-solving and an authentic college-level experience, while Nursing Camp immerses students in hands-on skills development, simulations, and CPR and first aid training.

“This is my first year as camp director, and I couldn’t be more excited to welcome students to campus,” said Lauren Schneider, director of academic youth programs, who brings more than 15 years of experience in camp leadership to the table. “Wildcat Summer Academy offers a unique opportunity for students to discover their passions, build lasting friendships, and be part of a supportive environment rooted in our values. I look forward to building on the strong foundation of WSA while introducing new experiences, including first-time camps like E-sports, Teaching All Learners, and a new business day-camp hosted at our Indianapolis location.”

Scholarships are available for eligible Indiana students, and interested parties may have a school counselor, teacher, mentor, or caregiver complete the scholarship application on their behalf.
