MARION, Ind. (January 30, 2026) — Indiana Wesleyan University (IWU) is introducing the OTD In-Community Scholarship, a new initiative designed to support incoming Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) students who choose to live in IWU graduate housing.
The OTD In-Community Scholarship provides $1,400 per trimester to eligible students living in IWU Graduate Housing, making on-campus living more affordable while enhancing the graduate student experience. The program is being piloted for the Fall 2026 and Fall 2027 academic years.
“Our graduate housing is a place where students build relationships, find support, and stay connected to the resources they need to thrive academically and personally,” said Melissa Khosla, OTD program director. “This scholarship reinforces our ability to create an environment where graduate students can focus on learning and growth in Christ-centered community.”
IWU graduate housing offers reasonably priced accommodations with all utilities included: high-speed internet, convenient laundry services, responsive maintenance support, flexible leasing options, and financial aid integration. Located near campus, graduate housing allows students to remain closely connected to academic spaces, faculty, and campus life.
The scholarship is available to new, full-time OTD students who live in IWU graduate housing and remain enrolled in the program. Additional information about IWU Graduate Housing, including photos and layouts, is available at https://www.indwes.edu/about/life-at-iwu/residence-halls/north-townhouses.
