IWU’s RN to BSN Program Ranked #4 Faith-Based Online Program in the U.S.

Marion, Ind. (November 24, 2025) — Indiana Wesleyan University’s (IWU) RN to BSN program has been ranked No. 4 in the nation among faith-based online RN to BSN programs by RegisteredNursing.org. The program is part of the Nursing and Graduate Programs division within IWU’s College of Adult and Professional Studies.

IWU received official notification of the ranking on Oct 30, 2025, solidifying the university’s national reputation for providing high-quality, faith-integrated nursing education in a fully online format.

“We are honored to receive this recognition,” said Beth Bailey, interim dean of N&G Nursing. “Our mission-driven approach to nursing education is reflected in the excellent work of our faculty, the dedication of our students, and our commitment to serving the healthcare needs of communities across the country.”

The program’s strong showing follows a major program redesign in 2023, when IWU streamlined the RN to BSN curriculum into an accelerated one-year completion pathway. This innovative format has allowed working registered nurses to complete their bachelor’s degree quickly without compromising academic excellence or the program’s signature faith-based foundation.

RegisteredNurse.org, a respected national resource for nursing education and workforce information, evaluates programs based on academic quality, student outcomes, affordability, and accessibility. IWU’s ranking confirms the program’s exceptional value and its distinctive integration of Christian principles within nursing practice.

“Our goal has always been to prepare nurses who excel both clinically and compassionately,” said Bailey. “This ranking affirms the quality and impact of our program.”
