You're Invited to
Grandparents Day

Pay tribute to the special relationships that exist between you and your grandparents, or those who have filled that role in your life! Grandparents Day at Indiana Wesleyan University is a celebration of the relationships and caregivers God has placed in our lives. Your grandparents or special guest will get to see first-hand what college life is like for you!

Your grandparents or guests will attend a Continental Breakfast, learn more about Indiana Wesleyan University during a morning Welcome Session, attend Chapel with you, and enjoy a Special Musical Performance by IWU students.

The cost to attend Grandparents Day is $15/guest. Students do not have to pay.

No, unfortunately not. We have a certain number of days that we have to have classes and so we cannot cancel. We also believe that being a part of the campus on a regular day is part of what makes Grandparents Day so awesome!
Yes! We encourage you to sit with your student! This continues to be one of the most special times of the day. There is nothing like worshipping alongside your college student!
Yes! We simply ask that you communicate your desire to attend class with your student. That way, the student can discuss that with the faculty member to make sure that there is room for everyone in the classroom.
No. The day is your own! We want to create the space for you to interact with your student. Feel free to pick and choose what items on the schedule that you would like to participate in!

Yes! Your lunch ticket will work in either the banquet rooms or Baldwin Dining Room (both located inside the Barnes Student Center).

Also, your student can use their ID to eat in either location.

*Tip: If you are pressed for time…the line in the banquet rooms is often faster and easier to navigate than the regular Baldwin Dining Room.

Yes. We encourage family members and friends to attend with the grandparents. We do ask that each person that attends completes the registration so that we know how many people will be attending.
We usually have ~600 guests on Grandparents Day. It is one of the most fun days to be on campus!
