An integrative and collaborative week-long art intensive held on the Marion, Indiana campus of Indiana Wesleyan University.
Do you want to spend a fun week full of serious artmaking and learning how to better follow Jesus? Come, learn new art techniques, dabble in different mediums, explore compositional possibilities, and be challenged to use all this to greater effect. The Art camp exists for high school level artists who desire a joyous week of intense learning and input from IWU Art + Design faculty. Campers will create original work over the course of the week and display it during the closing gallery-reception.
Total Camp Cost: $550
Cost includes resident hall lodging, three meals a day, snacks, and all major aspects of the camp. Our dining hall has many options for those with food allergies. However, we encourage you to bring appropriate snacks since not all snack options will meet all dietary needs.

Will Carpenter began studying art at Wheaton College under respected artists and educators such as Joel Sheesley and Jeff Thompson. Inspired by representational painting, he later worked in Ecuador before earning a fully funded MFA at the University of Miami, where he studied with Walter Darby Bannard and worked with Brian Curtis and glass artist William Carlson.
Will is a devoted husband to Jackie and father to many wonderful kids. During the academic year, he invests deeply in his students at Indiana Wesleyan University, helping them grow in perception, ability, and creative thinking. For nearly 20 years he has taught courses including art appreciation, color, design, drawing, and painting.
Alongside teaching, he maintains a professional art practice, creating worship-focused paintings and imaginative suburban landscapes. He is a member of the historic Hoosier Salon, and his work has been featured in numerous national exhibitions.

Born in Marion, Indiana, Keith Lowe is an illustrator, educator, and designer with more than 15 years in the gaming industry. As a Senior Designer for BradyGames, he created books and limited-edition products for major clients including Microsoft, Nintendo, Sony, Bungie, Blizzard, and Activision.
Keith also served as Art Director for MegaCon Games, producing hundreds of illustrations for packaging, cards, and game components for titles such as Myth, MERCs, and Emergence Event.
He holds a B.S. in illustration and graphic design from Indiana Wesleyan University and an M.F.A. in illustration from the University of Hartford. He has taught at Butler University, the Indianapolis Art Center, and IWU, and continues to freelance for board games and children's books.
Keith lives in Fishers, Indiana with his wife Joanna and their three daughters, Evelyn, Julia, and Sylvia.

Whether it was drawing his favorite Super Friends characters, spending hours building with Lego or redesigning the logos of MLB teams, Ryan often could be found creating something as a child. He graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2001 with degrees in Graphic Design and Photography.
Before returning to IWU, Ryan spent 22+ years as a designer and creative director on thousands of diverse projects, working with major brands such as Nike Golf, Adidas, The North Face, Merrell, Lands’ End, Delta Faucet and Ruth’s Chris. His vast experience equips him with a deep understanding of the design industry and what it takes to succeed. Ryan’s passion is to inspire students to use their God-given talents to become the best designers they can be.
When not designing, Ryan loves spending time with his family. He and his wife have three daughters and a son. He is passionate about coaching basketball, soccer and baseball. He currently lives in Noblesville, Indiana.

Henrik Söderström loves the potential that materials in God’s created world have to expand our wonder and remind us of Jesus’ ongoing redemption of all things. After absorbing inspiration and general excitement about life at the Rhode Island School of Design, he worked with Yo-Yo Ma’s Silk Road Project, designing the set for their production of Leyli & Majnun at Lincoln Center, and creating album artwork for their Grammy-nominated recording Off the Map.
Henrik has also enjoyed creating and art directing set designs, album artwork and exhibits for the IDEA Museum, the Society for Freshwater Science, the Grammy-nominated Music of Difference Project, the Knights Orchestra, the Attacca Quartet, Sandeep Das, and Samuel Adler.
Henrik and his brilliant wife Dottie live in Marion and are the parents of two wonderful kids. They attend and serve at Kingdom Life Church.
