Mike Truong, Ph.D.

Dr. Mike Truong serves as the Assistant Vice President (AVP) of Academic Affairs of National and Global at Indiana Wesleyan University. He sits at the intersection of AI, faith, and higher education, driven by the belief that technology, wielded well, transforms lives and advances human flourishing. Prior to IWU, he served as the Founding Executive Director of the Office of Innovative Teaching and Technology and the Digital Learning Architect at Azusa Pacific University.

With 25+ years of experience across public, private, and faith-based institutions, Dr. Truong has built and scaled academic and digital initiatives from the ground up. As an education entrepreneur, he has helped found a research university, a business/IT school, a university innovation alliance, a teaching-learning center, a writing program, and an educational technology office, turning bold ideas into lasting institutions.
