Amanda Davis, PhD, NCC, LMHC is a licensed school counselor and National Certified Counselor with a strong commitment to counselor leadership, advocacy, and student well-being. She earned her Doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision from Walden University, with an emphasis on program evaluation, trauma, and crisis response. Amanda holds a bachelor’s degree in special education, a master’s degree in education, and a master’s degree in school counseling from Indiana Wesleyan University and received her clinical mental health certification from Butler University.

A dedicated advocate for the profession, Amanda serves on the Board of Directors for the Indiana School Counselor Association, where she works to advance ethical practice, professional development, and systemic support for school counselors across the state. She has presented both locally and nationally on topics including school safety, counselor leadership, and best practices in school counseling.

Current Professional Interests

Amanda’s current areas of interest include:

  • Counselor leadership and advocacy
  • Grief and loss across the lifespan
  • Comprehensive school counseling programs
  • Career development and life-span transitions

Outside of her professional roles, Amanda enjoys spending time with her family, engaging in community initiatives, and traveling.
