Biography

Ted Batson was reared in Concord, Alabama, by parents who believed that a college education could afford their three boys a better and more comfortable life than they enjoyed. At teacher's college, Ted met Anne Parks, and they were married two years later. Ted's professional career includes teaching kindergarten through doctoral levels except third grade, as well as serving as principal of several elementary and secondary public and private schools. He and Anne were part of the founding team of a college preparatory bilingual academy grades pre-kinder through 12 in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, where he served as headmaster for four years. The Batsons have four grown children and 16 grandchildren.
