Occupational Therapy Program receives applications for doctoral program
admission and most applicant credentials exclusively through the Occupational
Therapy Centralized Application Service (OTCAS), provided by the American
Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA).
- The Regular Admission Application deadline (including supplement form): Sunday, March 16, 2014. OTCAS application closes for IWU on this date. Acceptance review process begins March 17, 2014.

OTCAS Open and Close Dates
- November 4, 2013 - Application to the OTD program at Indiana Wesleyan University may begin with OTCAS and IWU’s online supplement form for Fall 2014 entry.
- March 16, 2014 - OTCAS Application Close Date for Indiana Wesleyan University - deadline for late applicants to submit all application materials. The OTCAS application must be complete by this date. In addition, official GRE scores must be received by IWU, and the online IWU supplement and supplement fee submitted by this date.

Application Fee - A one-time, non-refundable $25 application fee is required.
Transcripts - Official transcripts are required from the baccalaureate degree-granting institution. Indiana Wesleyan University will accept for its
permanent file only those transcripts mailed directly to OTCAS by the registrar of the attended institution. Official transcripts must exhibit
the official seal and signature of the registrar. Transcripts that are stamped “student copy,” “issued to student,” or “unofficial” cannot be
accepted as official. If the applicant completed less than 30 credit hours at the baccalaureate degree-granting institution, all previous
transcripts will be required. For college transcripts from non-U.S. schools, secure a "course-by-course report from Educational Credential Evaluators (www.ece.org). Be sure to request that the report be sent directly to Indiana Wesleyan University. The evaluation must list course-by course hours and grades.
Observational Hours - Applicant must provide documentation of volunteer/paid experience showing at least 10 hours of volunteer, work, or shadowing experience in at least two (2) Occupational therapy practice environments. GRE Scores - Applicants mus provide proof of a competitive Graduate Record Exam (GRE) taken within the last 5 years, including the
analytical writing component. Preferred candidates will score 145 or higher on both
verbal and quantitative sections of the GRE, and a 4 or higher on analytical writing.

TOEFL Scores - Submit a copy of your Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) scores if English is not your primary language. For more information
