Do you sense you are being called to minister as a worship pastor?
Indiana Wesleyan University's Worship Ministries major - through the School of Theology and Ministry - equips students to serve in a multiple-staff situation giving significant pastoral leadership to overall ministry of worship in a church or parachurch setting including designing and leading weekly services, developing special services of the Christian year, engaging worship renewal, and forming deeper worshiping disciples. (47 hours)
Path to Ordination
Pair this major with the Pastoral Ministries double major to be eligible for ordination within the Wesleyan Church and some other denominations.
"At IWU I discovered a beautifully curated program that allowed me to dive into a holistic and practical study of the theology of worship, how to carefully plan for proper biblical worship, and how to disciple a congregation to grow as worshipers. Each course in the program has been incredibly valuable, and has not only grown my heart for worship, but also my desire to lead a congregation toward a faithful expression of relationship with God through congregational worship."
