The Indiana Wesleyan University Music Education program provides a challenging and nurturing environment in which to develop your God-given gifts in music and teaching. The program is also designed to meet standards for music education in Indiana. IWU is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Music (NASM) and the Music Education program is accredited by the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP).
A degree in Music Education combines courses in music theory and ear training, music history and literature, and music technology and computer applications with private lessons and participation in large and small ensembles.
