On April 4, 2011, the College of Arts & Sciences Academic Affairs Committee approved 5 student learning outcomes to guide curricular and co-curricular decision-making in general education.
CAS General Education Student Learning OutcomesStudents should:
- develop and articulate a Christian way of life and learning that enables virtue, servant leadership, and citizenship in God's kingdom.
- demonstrate the intellectual, interpersonal, and practical skills needed to engage diverse perspectives and serve diverse populations effectively.
- integrate the logic, methods, and contexts of various modes of inquiry and expression in order to contribute to civil and sacred communities.
- communicate effectively in oral and written forms.
- use technological and information literacy skills with integrity.
