Evans Hall

Female

Evans Hall was the first of the “L” shaped residence halls to be built on campus in 1993. Evans is home to 206 women and shares a common lawn with its brother hall, Hodson. With two sand volleyball courts and a full-size lighted basketball court, the Evans/Hodson Lawn is alive with student activity and regularly hosts campus-wide programs and events. Since it is a traditional hall housing Freshmen through Seniors, Evans women benefit from the informal mentoring and peer support that can happen when students at every stage in their college experience share life and learning together.

Vision for Evans Hall:

“My prayer is that Evans Hall is a place where women feel at home and grow in their relationship with Christ and one another.”

Favorite IWU Tradition:

“Wildcat Week is a week at the beginning of the Fall semester where each residence hall competes against the others in various games and activities.

Fireside Chats are Q&A sessions on specific relevant topics lead by leaders with relevant experiences. They're always so meaningful!”
