Carmin Hall | Female

Traditional Residence Halls

Carmin Hall is a traditional hall that houses freshmen through seniors. Half of the building is freshmen, but many of our residents choose to stay in Carmin, some for all four years. Each unit has an RA and other returning students who choose to stay in Carmin because they love the tight-knit community and a sense of feeling at home. Carmin has a beautiful community of informal mentorship as returning students and new students develop relationships while living alongside one another.

Carmin Hall is very central to campus and has many enjoyable programs and events throughout the year. There are many traditional programs that returning students look forward to each year, which allow the women of Carmin to continue to grow and flourish during their time here.

Crystal Keetch | Residence Director

"My desire is for these women to grow closer to God and one another in this community, and to feel at home as they grow into the women God desires them to be."

Since coming to IWU in 2009, I have served as the Resident Director of Carmin Hall and love it!  I also serve as the Assistant Director for Residental Learning. I strongly believe in the importance of walking alongside students as they grow and journey through college.  I am blessed to serve in this capacity and help young women mature and follow God and His plans for their lives.  I love being able to watch the women flourish during their time here and as they journey on after college.
