Hodson Hall

Male

Hodson was constructed in 1996 originally as a women’s residence hall. In 1999 Hodson was converted to a men’s hall and is now home to 206 IWU men. Since it is a traditional hall housing Freshmen through Seniors, Hodson men benefit from the informal mentoring and peer support that can happen when students at every stage in their college experience share life and learning together. Hodson shares a common lawn with its sister hall, Evans. With two sand volleyball courts and a full-size lighted basketball court, the Hodson/Evans Lawn is alive with student activity and regularly hosts campus-wide programs and events.

Residence Director

Jeremy Gross
Vision for Hodson Hall:

“My hope for Hodson Hall is that students of all grade levels can find a safe space to participate in community with one another through traditions old and new. I also hope that students grow in their mental, physical, social, and spiritual lives as they go through the journey that is college.”

Favorite IWU Tradition:

“My favorite IWU tradition is Bubble Tug-O-War that happens during Wildcat Week at the beginning of the year! I think the event explains itself, but the amount of bubbles is probably way more than you think.”
