Carmin Hall was built in 1990 and renovated in 2019 to continue serving new generations of students. The lower total number of rooms in this hall promotes an intimate and vibrant community for the 152 Freshmen through Senior women that call it home. Carmin occupies a prime location in the heart of IWU’s campus next to the Barnes Student Center.
Favorite IWU Tradition:
“My favorite IWU tradition is Taste of Marion. At the beginning of each school year businesses and churches from all over the county come to campus for a fair-like event with raffles and lots of free goodies. It is an energetic gathering that helps students get acquainted with their new home away from home in the community of Marion.”
Vision for Carmin Hall:
“My prayer is that Carmin Hall would be a community dedicated to celebrating our togetherness - uplifting one another as we honor our stories, God given gifts, and identity - moving towards a more complete picture of who we are in Christ.”
