BETTER UNDERSTANDING THE WORLD GOD HAS CREATED

A Biology degree allows you to study life, using the tools of science to understand the world God has created all around us. Knowing more about how life functions gives us new insights, both into the understanding of the creation and the Creator. Studying biological processes is incredibly complex and highly technical, but it also offers intense satisfaction.

IWU's Bachelor of Science with a major in Biology program will open the door to careers in medicine, research, and green technology. Your studies will address issues of personal well-being and worldwide concern such as environmental depletion, threats to human health, and the maintenance of viable and abundant food supplies. This is a pursuit of new knowledge that will both challenge and inspire you. Students may also choose to earn an Associate of Science degree for quick entry into the workforce and a foundation for further education, or to minor in Biology as a supplement to another IWU major.

If you have a passion for understanding and working with life systems and enjoy studies that are both challenging and rewarding, then you should consider majoring in Biology at Indiana Wesleyan University.

Faculty

The faculty in the Biology department are exceptional teachers and excellent scholars.
