The IWU Jazz Ensemble was invited by the Palladium in Carmel, Indiana, to attend the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra Concert on Monday, December 5. The Palladium has a program called the Firestone Front Row project where they invite young people to watch the pre-concert sound check / rehearsal, take a tour of the historic photo gallery, and enjoy the concert. Not only did the ensemble attend, but IWU Professor, Todd Williams played on a selection in the concert and the students got to meet members of the band including Wynton Marsalis.
