Information-the life of every organization
A Computer Information Systems (CIS) degree can prepare you to enter a wide range of careers that not only span the traditional business applications, but also are having a greater impact on every aspect of our daily lives. You will gain both the technical skills you need to manage information systems and the professional expertise required to succeed in a wide array of workplace environments.
IWU's Bachelor of Science with a major in Computer Information Systems program from the Division of Mathematics and Computer Information Sciences provides training to design and manage computer information systems and gives an overview of many of the areas in which CIS is most often applied, including accounting, marketing, business and management, and communications. Students may also choose to earn an Associate of Science degree for quick entry into the workforce and a foundation for further education, or to minor in Computer Information Systems as a supplement to another IWU major.
If you feel called and inspired to apply this powerful technology with a Christian worldview and context to meeting future challenges and opportunities, you should consider majoring in Computer Information Systems at Indiana Wesleyan University.
