Master of Arts
Our Master of Arts (MA) is a streamlined 36 hour Master of Arts in Ministry degree with eighteen hours of core classes and eighteen hours of electives. Students may choose to take four electives in a given field and receive a specialization in either Children, Youth & Family Ministry, Church Planting and Multiplication, Church Revitalization, Leadership, Pastoral Ministry, or Worship Arts. Our specializations are designed to be done “on the run” whether you are already in a parachurch or church ministry, or whether you are sensing God might be calling you to some sort of ministry.
Seminary classes take place in a cohort model, which means you begin your degree together on campus at orientation and then proceed through the twelve eight-week classes of the degree until you graduate together. This model not only helps motivate you to keep going; it creates a spiritual and relational bond with fellow pilgrims on the journey with whom you can rejoice, struggle, and to whom you can be accountable.
