IWU-National & Global is excited to announce a post-clinical specialization for the Bachelor of Science in health sciences, which allows allied health professionals to apply a healthcare related associate’s degree and/or convert an earned certification/licensure into degree credit to complete a bachelor’s degree within two years. The program also creates a pathway to advanced fields of study like healthcare administration, physician assistant and more.
“Allied health professionals like radiologic technologists, paramedics and surgical technicians have already completed an associate degree or earned a certification or licensure to do their jobs, and we want to honor that experience,” says Dr. Amanda Doneski, program director for the B.S. in health sciences. “This program provides a faster, more efficient route to a bachelor’s degree – and sets students up to advance their careers.”
IWU’s B.S. in health sciences program equips students to become confident communicators, critical thinkers and problem-solvers. Through six-week, 100% online courses taken one at a time, students can balance their academic commitments with their already busy work and personal lives. The post-clinical specialization provides the maximum amount of credit transfer for degree completion, so students can graduate in as little as 18 months.
Graduates of the B.S. in health sciences program will be prepared to advance their careers in the allied health profession by pursuing management, sales or education roles. To learn more about this degree, visit indwes.edu/bshs.
