MARION, Ind. (May 11, 2022) — IWU-National & Global is excited to announce a partnership between the DeVoe School of Business and the Association for Supply Chain Management (ASCM), which will provide discounted opportunities for students to achieve a certification in supply chain warehousing and/or supply chain procurement. By enrolling in these programs, students access discounted rates that can save them up to $200.
“This partnership will allow us to provide more opportunities for students in our current programs, but it will also serve as an invitation to workers who want to expand their knowledge without completing a degree,” says Dr. Lorne Oke, associate vice president of IWU’s Talent Ladder, a division that provides innovative training solutions to help employers improve talent alignment and retention within their organizations. “We’re excited to see how these certificates create employment opportunities for participants.”
The ASCM certificates are offered through IWU’s Talent Ladder, and they are open to all students, regardless of whether they pursue a degree through IWU. Each of these certificates includes 18-20 hours of self-study coursework and a final exam. Upon successful completion of all required work, students receive a certificate and digital badge to signify their accomplishments.
ASCM is the global leader and premier source of leading-edge knowledge in operations and supply chain management. Their comprehensive offerings are uniquely designed for operations and supply chain professionals, and IWU is honored to partner with them to provide upskilling opportunities for students pursuing careers in high-demand operations and supply chain industries. These two certificates pair perfectly with IWU’s associate degree in operations management. Learn more about the opportunity here.
