IWU-National & Global is pleased to announce a new partnership with Computer Systems Institute (CSI) that allows both organizations to address the shortage of IT professionals by training students and connecting them with employers.
This agreement is specifically designed to service students who wish to work in the U.S. while studying for a new career using optional practical training and curricular practical training within CSI’s offerings. The partnership will allow F-1 international students to meet their educational goals at a higher value and lower cost than other competitors.
“Our institutions have been providing solutions to domestic and international students for decades. Together, we have connected forces to provide a one-of-a-kind solution to students that focuses on key areas of academic and career development,” Julia Lowder, chief executive officer of CSI, said. “Through this partnership, we are developing innovative solutions to provide students, employers, and our communities long-term success.”
This partnership creates a wide variety of options for international student. From a one-year certificate to a master’s degree, students have flexibility within this agreement to select a pathway that’s right for them. Credits earned at CSI towards a certificate can be transferred to bachelor-level programs at IWU-National & Global.
“Offering life-changing education to students around the globe is a part of our mission,” Carson Castleman, vice president of student experience at IWU-National & Global, said. “This partnership is a unique opportunity to provide students with certificate program completion in their field of study, coupled with a well-rounded ethics-based higher education degree program.”
In anticipation of launching these offerings, CSI and IWU will host a webinar on March 18 from 3-4 p.m. EST. The webinar will discuss the partnership and how interested students can take the first step toward a successful IT career. To register for the webinar click here.
