IWU-National & Global (IWU) is proud to announce its first Endowed Student Scholarship, which will be open for applicants on April 1.
This scholarship was made possible by the generosity of donors who contributed to Give Day 2020, IWU’s annual virtual fundraising event that invites IWU alumni and friends of the university to light the way for students by making donations to various departments and causes across IWU.
“IWU–N&G providing scholarships demonstrates our desire to invest in the lives of individuals who want to make a positive impact in the world around them and into the future,” Susie Carr, scholarship committee and selection member, said.
This year the IWU-National & Global Endowed Student Scholarship will award six students with $1,000 scholarships. Applications will be accepted from April 1, 2021, to April 15, 2021.
“We hope the impact generates students who aspire to grow in leadership, scholarship, and character,” Carr said. “It would be great to see students be able to use this scholarship to relieve some of the financial pressure on our students and propel them through their degree program.”
In order to be eligible for the scholarship, students must have completed 12 credits, meet a minimum GPA requirement and actively be enrolled at IWU-National & Global. Further details regarding eligibility can be found at indwes.edu/ng-student-scholarship.
